Our Rosé is a delicate pale peach colour with an incredibly fresh palate making it the ideal choice for those warm, lazy summer evenings. Fantastic with crisp summer salads, or fire up the barbeque and enjoy it with some char-grilled chicken or the catch of the day. It’s wonderfully sipable without food too!
This pretty light-peach coloured Rosé has the most enticing bouquet of pomegranate, fresh strawberries and honeysuckle. A juicy, rich palate warmed with flavours of strawberry shortcake, and focused by well-balanced acidity. Try it with some creamy goats cheese, a light summer salad, or your favourite shellfish. Marlborough is a fantastic region for realising the full potential of grape varieties. With its mild springs, largely dry summers and consistently cool nights, we get this great extended growing season that means we can leave grapes on the vines until they reach their ideal ripeness.
This Rosé was created using parcels of fruit that were individually harvested over a period of two weeks. The fruit was crushed, destemmed, briefly soaked, then gently pressed. We cold settled the juice for 48hrs then racked it before a long cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks ideal for capturing all those bright, fresh fruit characters. Each parcel was fermented separately with an assortment of yeasts to build complexity and structure. When fermentation was complete we blended, stabilised and filtered the wine prior to bottling.
